We, Hans and Monique, welcome you to our authentically crafted Balinese lodges. Serenity, privacy, hospitality and exclusivity are our key words. Emerge yourself in the rainforest of Costa Rica and meet its Toekans, Sloths, Monkeys and more.
We hope to see you soon in our small paradise that is Uvita Bali Bosque!
By combining the traditional Balinese wooden house structure with modern features, Casa Suardika at Uvita Bali Bosque retreat represents a unique balance between simplicity and luxury. It blends perfectly into our Costa Rican tropical environment and exemplifies an ecological way of life. Casa Suardika features a master bedroom with king-size bed and a second bedroom.
‘The house of the Goddess’ If you are looking for an Indonesian style private house in the midst of the jungle you found your perfect destination. This authentic Balinese house with it’s old wood carved centre makes you feel like the kings and queens who slept under the same roof centuries ago.
Casa Pelangi is built next to a beginning coffee plantation. If you choose to stay in this house you will not be disappointed. A 120 year old house with a full carved teak front side will be your shelter in the jungle.
This authentic Javanese house is the smallest in our retreat. The original house is only 2,5 x 4 meters. In that space we fitted a bed of 140 x 195cm and a fully equipped kitchen. The toilet and shower are under the same roof but you access them from the outside.
We, as owners of Uvita Bali Bosque, prepare your breakfast with the most possible care. We bake your bread, make fresh yoghurt and pick the fruits we serve you ourselves when in season.
We want to make your breakfast an experience to not easily forget. Try it for 15 dollars per person.
To support digital nomads we brought symmetrical, similar up/download speed, fiber optic to Uvita Bali Bosque.
All our houses have standard 25 mb symmetrical fiber-optic internet. On request we can increase the speed to 200 mb per individual house.
The resort is home to the most iconic animals and plants of Costa Rica. Within the resort you can spot the sloth, toucan, hummingbird and more.
Feel free to take a shower under the waterfall or make a walk through our eco-garden rich in fruits, berries and herbs.
To reach our “living room” you can walk the 200 meters up the hill or take your car and park it close to the entrance. There are 2 stairs to climb before you can enjoy the amazing view over the forest and ocean.
All of our Balinese villas are crafted in Bali using authentic ornaments (up to 200 years old) and handmade woodwork.
By doing this we make sure these old masters have the opportunity to pass this art on to the younger generation
